• Establish and scale internal and external synthesis capabilities for innovative products from sustainable feedstocks on a kilogram scale (batch and continuous operation)
• Lead development projects with external service providers to create end-to-end processes for purifying complex product mixtures into pure chemicals
• Define and align input and output streams (chemical and physical properties) and establish product specifications
• Collaborate closely with upstream and downstream R&D teams as well as with the management team
• Drive innovation by co-developing and implementing next-generation purification technologies to enable truly Planet-Proof Plastics

• Degree in Organic Chemistry, Technical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of industrial experience in synthesis and/or purification of fine chemicals
• Proven track record in project management and successful implementation of processes/syntheses
• Ideally experienced with cGMP, ISO 9001, or equivalent quality systems
• Hands-on mindset and a passion for developing and implementing new processes
• Proficiency in analytical instrumentation and data interpretation
• Excellent organizational skills
• Self-driven and proactive work style, with a “get-it-done” attitude
• True team player
• Business-fluent English (negotiation level; C1/C2), Business-fluent German language skills (C1/C2) are an advantage
