• Maintain the polymer synthesis, characterization, and processing equipment of aevoloop’s labs

• Design and implement custom-made modifications to optimize and improve the existing lab equipment as well as end-to-end responsibility from drafting, calculating, designing, and building tailor made solutions for individual problems

• Build and maintain a mechanical & electrical workshop as well as a storage of spare parts for the individual devices

• Build and maintain an inventory of the lab devices, individual parts, and spare parts

• You successfully completed a mechatronics apprenticeship or studying mechanical and electrical engineering or a related field with a B.Eng. degree

• You have at least 2 years job experience in mechanical and electrical engineering work in an industrial chemical environment

• Ideally, you have worked in a plastics processing lab

• You work independently and find joy in interdisciplinary collaboration

• You know how to help yourself when facing technical challenges

• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and a passion for experimental process optimisation

• You bring a hands-on mindset, structure your work efficiently, and collaborate seamlessly across disciplines – even under the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up environment
