Student Assistance / HiWi / Thesis Fuel Cell Development
Ionysis GMBH
ionysis develops next-generation membrane electrode assemblies for electrochemical converters like electrolysis cells for the generation of green hydrogen. Spun out from the university in 2022 and based in beautiful Freiburg, we are looking for a student assistant / Hiwi student (f/m/d). You will support our fuel cell tech team with electrochemical testing of novel components.
What we do
To stop climate change and reach Net Zero, ionysis seeks to decarbonize industry with innovative electrochemical devices. We focus on the core of any electrochemical converter: the membrane electrode assembly (MEA). We develop and manufacture MEAs based on the most performant fluorine-free materials for hydrogen technology, including fuel cells and electrolysers. As a spin-off from Hahn-Schickard and the University of Freiburg, we combine scientific excellence with entrepreneurial spirit to bring our innovations to market and scale.
