About us

We are tulanā, a Berlin-based decision intelligence startup. We combine stochastic optimization, simu-lation, and machine learning to help companies make better decisions under uncertainty, from keeping life-saving medications flowing through pharmaceutical supply chains to getting stranded airline passengers home.

Our seasoned team (ex-BCG, ex-Spotify) builds the platforms that keep critical operations running when failure is not an option. We are small, fast, and trusted by large enterprise customers, which means your work will be visible and it will matter from week one.

Your role

As our Strategy & Operations Intern, you become the right hand to the CEO and help run the operational engine of the company. Among other things, you will:

• Work closely with the CEO on strategic planning, decision-making, and execution

• Drivebusinessdevelopmentthroughoutreachandbyrepresentingtulanāatindustryeventsandconferences

• Prepare clear, compelling presentations for our customers

• Keep day-to-day operations running smoothly so the team can focus on building

• Automate recurring processes and tasks using modern AI tooling

Your profile

• Currently enrolled student (m/f/d) in management, economics, industrial engineering, or a related field

• Highly organized and structured, with a strong bias for action and follow-through

• Confident with everyday productivity tools (slides, spreadsheets, Notion, etc.) and AI tools (we use Claude)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (German is a strong plus)

• Willing and able to travel for trade shows, in particular to the USA

• Available to start in September 2026 for a minimum of 3 months; there is some flexibility around start and end dates

• Prior internships in fast-paced environments (MBB,IB,VC) strong plus
